About Our Speakers:
Teresa Moreira, Head, Competition and Consumer Policies Branch of UNCTAD - United Nations Conference on Trade and Development since 5 October 2016, previously served as Consumer Director-General of Portugal from January 2010 to September 2016 and as a Member of the Board of the Portuguese Competition Authority (March 2003/March 2008) when it was first established. She also served as Portugal's Director-General and Deputy Director-General for International Economic Relations and held senior positions at the former Directorate-General for Competition. She worked for 20 years as a Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Law, the University of Lisbon in the areas of International Economic Law and European Law as well as of European Competition Law and European Economic Law (graduate studies).
Teresa Moreira has also been an officer in charge of the Trade, Environment, Climate Change and Sustainable Development Branch, Division on International Trade and Commodities of UNCTAD from February 2020 to April 2021 and she is rotating officer in charge of the Division on International Trade and Commodities of UNCTAD since mid-October 2020.
Jeffrey A. Greenbaum is the Managing Partner of Frankfurt Kurnit Klein & Selz since 2010 and is one of the leading advertising lawyers in the United States of America. He is a partner in the firm's Advertising, Marketing & Public Relations Group and has extensive experience representing advertisers, advertising agencies, and media companies on advertising, branded entertainment, and intellectual property matters. He is also the Chairman of the Global Advertising Lawyers Alliance and is a member of the Board of the International Advertising Association and the Chair of the IAA’s Public Policy Council.
